Psychological Services in NH and MA
Meet Dr. Kelemen
Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Kelemen, a clinical psychologist, born and raised in New England. Very early on in life, I developed great curiosity about life and human behavior, always asking the question "why", and wanting to understand why we think, feel, behave, and relate to others in the ways that we do. Along the way, I was amazed to learn that there is a whole scientific field devoted to answering those questions, and using that science to help others heal, grow, and find clarity and balance in their lives. The rest, as they say, is history.

After graduating with a B.A in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, I went on to get my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology. Over the years, I've had a very diverse range of experiences and have provided therapy and assessment in a number of different settings, ranging from rural community mental health out in the Midwest, to working with Veterans at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in both Manchester, NH and Bedford, MA in primary care and mental health clinics. I have also worked at Dartmouth Hitchcock as a psychologist in their Weight Center, offering bariatric psychological evaluations and therapy for those with overlapping emotional and behavioral health concerns. With all of these amazing experiences behind me, it is my pleasure to offer a variety of therapy and evaluation services to the Nashua community and all throughout NH and MA.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy my time with family and friends, traveling, going for hikes, and playing music.Â
My Approach To Care
My approach to care is person-centered, collaborative, empathic, and emphasizes the whole person in the context of their life and culture. I have a strong background in health psychology and several different models of care, and often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. Whether you are coming in for a one-time consultation, or a full course of therapy, there is no "one size fits all."Â Every service I provide is rooted in decades of psychological science, and is carefully tailored to your individual needs, goals, and values.
